0×80070005 FIX 0.0.4.45

A while back I had a terrible malware attack. This attack really corrupted my system and for once in my life I decided to not reinstall Windows, but rather try and fix the errors. This decision gave birth to Rizone Technologies and all the tools on this site are a result of trying to fix several Windows errors. Now, after this malware attack, my Windows Update was not functioning (Windows Update Repair Coming Soon). I tried to reregister the required dll files, but kept on getting 0×80070005 errors. I also tried reinstalling the Update Agent, but no success. The Installation failed.

So, logically, I decided to write a little tool to fix this for me and the “0×80070005 FIX” tool was born. As the name implies, “0×80070005 FIX” will simply attempt to repair the dreaded 0×80070005 error messages when trying to register dll files while installing certain Windows components or programs. Sometimes you will not get this specific error number, but just an Installation Failed message. This tool will in most cases also repair these errors, for example: Internet Explorer 7 installation failure. It will accomplish repairing these errors by restoring your computer to the original installation default security settings.

Because restoring your security settings to its defaults can’t be undone, “0×80070005 FIX” will automatically create a “System Restore Point” for you. Note: If you do not have any 0×80070005 errors or Installation problems, do not run this tool, it will be unnecessary.
